Eight Civilians Killed in Israeli Bombardment of Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis in Gaza

Gaza City: Eight Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, four citizens were killed and six others injured when Israeli airstrikes targeted a residential building on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza City. In another incident, Israeli fighter jets conducted an airstrike on the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of two people.

Two additional casualties were reported in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Qizan Rashwan area, southwest of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. Several casualties occurred after an Israeli drone bombed near the Bir al-Saba' Mosque in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

Simultaneously, Israeli fighter jets opened fire in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, alongside artillery shelling and tank fire. Israeli artillery also shelled the area south of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 52,535 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with nearly 118,491 reported wounded.
