The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination with the Embassy of Egypt in Amman, announced on Sunday the availability of five scholarships in the bachelor's program "Human Medicine," offered by Al-Azhar University, for the academic year 2024-2025. The requirements for applying were listed by the ministry as follows: students must be of Jordanian nationality; they must hold a high school diploma from Jordan in the scientific branch or the medical branch exclusively for the summer session (general) 2024; the student's high school average cannot be lower than 90%; they must complete the application that is attached to the announcement and email it to [email protected]; and they must attach a copy of their high school diploma in PDF format. The Ministry will accept applications from today through Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the end of the working day. The nomination process will select the top five high school graduates among eligible applicants as long as they come from five differe nt governorates and private education students will be considered based on where their certificates were issued. According to the ministry, the student who is nominated undertakes to forfeit his spot in the unified admission lists should he be admitted to Jordanian public universities' human medicine specialization.
