Egyptian and French Presidents Visit Wounded Gazans at El Arish Hospital

El Arish: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, visited wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip at El-Arish Hospital in North Sinai on Tuesday afternoon. The visit aimed to express solidarity and support for those affected by the ongoing conflict since October 7, 2023.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the two presidents arrived in El-Arish earlier in the day. During their visit, they inspected aid warehouses designated for the Gaza Strip and spent time with the wounded individuals receiving treatment at the hospital. This visit underscores the international concern over the humanitarian situation in the region and highlights the collaborative efforts between Egypt and France to address the crisis.

Thousands of Egyptians from different governorates gathered in El-Arish to welcome Presidents el-Sisi and Macron. The crowd voiced their firm opposition to the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and expressed their support for the decisions made by the Egyptian political leadership concerning the Palestinian issue.
