Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty asserted on Friday that Lebanon's security and stability is a top priority to the Arab world and to Egypt. Abdelatty made the remarks to reporters after meeting with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, condemning at the same time all Israeli violations and provocation policy toward Lebanon. The Egyptian minister affirmed on the importance of de-escalation and not to expand the cycle of violence to the whole region. Earlier, Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, received at the Grand Serail, Abdelatty, in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Dr. Abdullah Bou Habib, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Moussa. The meeting also took place in the presence of Premier Mikati's Advisors former Minister Nicolas Nahas and Ambassador Boutros Assaker, as well as Lebanon's Ambassador to the Arab League, Ali Halabi.
