Deputy Prime Minister of the caretaker government for the services and development sector, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, inaugurated on Monday at the Road Maintenance Fund a training workshop on professional project management organized by the services and social solidarity sector. At the opening of the three-day workshop with the participation of 32 service agencies, Dr. Maqbouli stressed the service sector's keenness to build the capabilities of the cadres of government agencies affiliated with the sector. He explained that the workshop is the third after the implementation of two workshops on analyzing critical issues, extracting priorities, policy-making and decision analysis... stressing that these workshops and courses come within the framework of the keenness and interest of the President of the Supreme Political Council to build the capabilities of employees of state institutions. Dr. Maqbouli pointed out that these courses and workshops all aim to build capabilities and hone the skills of members of agen cies affiliated with the services and social solidarity sector, which would avoid any problems or imbalances in planning processes, and adopt professional projects. He urged the workshop participants to benefit from the themes and contents of the training workshop and produce tangible results that contribute to improving performance and improving services provided to society. The workshop, in which the head of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Hadrami, and a number of leaders and cadres of the Corporation, the Road Maintenance Fund, and many entities affiliated with the services sector, will participate, aims to provide participants with the necessary skills and capabilities to adopt professional projects and manage their planning and follow-up according to a participatory methodology, keeping pace with the latest project management methods.
