Western media in the Gaza Strip reported the martyrdom and injury of dozens of citizens and the loss of others as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the vicinity of the Omari Mosque in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip. Medical sources said that "the Israeli bombing resulted in the martyrdom of more than 22 people in an initial toll and the injury of dozens of others, and efforts are still ongoing to retrieve the victims and search for the missing." Eyewitnesses said that "the bombing targeted Hassan Assaf's house, and the intensity of the bombing caused the collapse of Ramzi Alloush's house and part of a house belonging to the Darduna family in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Strip." The eyewitnesses added: "The houses were completely wiped out by the violent Zionist raids. The houses belong to the families of Darduna, Assaf, Azzam, Ghanem and Junaid. In the house of Hassan Assaf, there are 15 martyrs who were completely killed under the rubble of the house." They pointed out that "the youngest martyr is a child who was no more than 7 months old.
