In the central Gaza Strip, five civilians were killed and over 16 others injured when Israeli drones targeted tents housing displaced persons near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. The attack also caused a large fire to erupt in the tents. In the northern Gaza Strip, eight people, including children, were killed and others wounded when Israeli airstrikes hit a house belonging to the Al-Amoudi family in the Al-Fakhoura area, northwest of Jabalia refugee camp. The injured were transported to the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia. Additional airstrikes targeted the Al-Hasayna area west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while intense artillery fire struck the area around the Gaza Power Plant and the Malaysian School north of the camp. Israeli military vehicles also heavily fired on areas east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Further shelling by Israeli artillery hit the eastern part of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, with concurrent heavy fire from Israeli military vehicles in the region. Airstrikes also targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, while artillery fire hit the same neighborhood as well as the Al-Tuffah and Al-Sabra neighborhoods in the city. Additionally, Israeli naval vessels shelled and fired on residential areas along the Gaza City coast. In Rafah, southern Gaza, Israeli airstrikes hit the Al-Saudi neighborhood while Israeli military vehicles fired around the Rafah crossing.
