Gaza: More than 47 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in a new massacre by Israeli occupation forces Saturday afternoon in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip in the ongoing war on the enclave, which entered its ninth month, the Gaza Health Ministry said. Dozens of dead and wounded arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, amid pleas for ambulances to evacuate casualties from Nuseirat, which came under heavy bombing by airstrikes and artillery, it said. The ministry said staff at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital were hardly trying to cope with the growing number of casualties from sustained bombing targeting many areas in central Gaza, adding that dozens of injured were lying on the ground and medical teams were desperately trying to save lives with "whatever means available." Israeli aircraft were also pounding areas east and west of Deir Al Balah and Salaheddine Street in Central Gaza, according to local sources. Source: Jordan News Agency
