The dollar declined at the end of Monday's trading after reaching high levels earlier in the session ahead of statements to be made by Chair of the Federal Reserve of the United States, Jerome Powell. The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against six major currencies, fell 0.23 percent to 104.05 after rising earlier in the session to 104.10 points. The dollar also fell 0.01 percent against the Japanese yen to 157.87. The euro rose 0.09 percent to $1.0917, while the British pound fell 0.02 percent to $1.2989. Source: Qatar News Agency
