The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) organized its first open day for university graduates and individuals interested in pursuing postgraduate studies, including PhD and master's programs offered by the institute. On this occasion, Executive Director of the Administrative and Financial Sector at DI, Iman bint Abdullah Al Sulaiti, emphasized the significance of this annual event, describing it as a bridge that strengthens communication between prospective graduate students and the institute. She highlighted the opportunity it provides to explore the academic programs available at both the master's and PhD levels. Al Sulaiti noted that the open day allows attendees to learn about registration and admission requirements, while also offering a platform for answering questions from those considering postgraduate studies. Attendees have the chance to meet current and prospective students, enriching their knowledge and sparking curiosity about the academic and research opportunities at the institute. The Doha Institute offers a range of master's programs through two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, which includes programs in philosophy, history, sociology and anthropology, political science and international relations, journalism, media studies, Arabic linguistics and lexicography, comparative literature, social psychology, clinical psychology, social work, critical security studies, conflict management and humanitarian action, and human rights. The School of Economics, Administration, and Public Policy offers master's degrees in public administration, executive public administration, development economics, public policy, and a dual executive master's in business and public administration. Additionally, the institute offers eight PhD programs in development economics, public administration, political science and international relations, Arabic linguistics and lexicography, history, sociology, media studies, and critical security studies.
