Doctors Without Borders Warns of Mass Graveyard Conditions in Gaza

Gaza: Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has declared that the Gaza Strip is turning into a "mass graveyard for Palestinians and those who rush to their aid," attributing this dire situation to the ongoing aggression by Israeli forces and the denial of crucial humanitarian aid.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Amand Bazirol, the emergency coordinator for MSF in the Gaza Strip, expressed deep concern over the current conditions, stating, "We are currently witnessing the annihilation and forced displacement of the population of Gaza." He highlighted the significant challenges faced by humanitarian efforts due to prevailing insecurity in the region.

In a recent report, MSF accused Israel of engaging in ethnic cleansing across all facets of life in Gaza. The report highlighted the pervasive "stench of death" and criticized the Israeli military's approach, describing it as based on "indiscriminate and blind retaliation."

Inas Abu Al-Khalaf, head of MSF's regional media office, underscored the recurring targeting of hospitals amidst escalating violence. She firmly rejected allegations made by the Israeli army, stressing that there is no justification for such indiscriminate attacks on hospitals, which are safeguarded by international humanitarian law. Abu Al-Khalaf condemned Israel's actions as a "war on all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip," further exacerbated by the ongoing closure of crossings since March 2.
