The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced today, Friday, the dismantling of a network in their possession of more than two million narcotic pills in a qualitative operation in four governorates, during a qualitative preemptive operation that extended from Basra to Najaf, then Anbar and ended in Nineveh. The Directorate stated, in a statement, that it "clashed with a network specialized in drug trafficking after its members attempted to smuggle a shipment of drugs, noting that the network was dismantled and two and a half million Captagon narcotic pills were seized.
