Discussing mechanism for organizing transportation sorting between provinces & determining bus stops in capital

A meeting at the General Traffic Department, attended by the Chairman of the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyad, and the Director General of the Traffic Police, Brigadier Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, discussed the mechanism for enhancing aspects of cooperation and joint coordination to organize the work of sorting transport in the capital and between the provinces. The meeting, attended by the Director of the Transport Authority Office in the Capital Secretariat, Muhammad Al-Shahari, and the directors of the departments concerned with traffic, reviewed the draft regulation for organizing the work of sorting transport between the governorates, and creating parking lots for various buses within the capital. They stressed the need to facilitate the services provided to citizens, and to develop the necessary solutions and treatments for traffic problems. In the meeting, the Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority praised the efforts of the Traffic Police Command in improv ing and developing tangible traffic work programs in the field and the level of coordination and constructive cooperation in implementing joint tasks in cooperation with the relevant authorities and traffic safety partners. For his part, the Director General of the Traffic Police praised the efforts of the Transport Authority Command and its positive role in addressing imbalances and organizing land transport operations to ensure facilitating traffic movement and reducing traffic congestion, considering that traffic represents one of the main features of the country's development.
