Dhale .. Implementation of 21 community initiatives worth one billion and 407 million riyals in Juban district

Community initiatives represent the most wonderful meanings of popular cohesion to get out of the bottleneck that the aggression tried to put the Yemeni people into.

Community initiatives had the effect of encouraging the community to adopt important vital projects and providing the necessary support for their implementation, within the framework of social construction activities that strengthen and consolidate the Yemeni faith identity.

In the district of Juban in Al-Dhalea province, the initiatives played an important role in the implementation of many service and development projects that overcame many of the difficulties imposed by the aggression and the siege, and they represented a dream for the people of the district during the past decades.

Where the district witnessed a quantum leap in the implementation of community initiatives through the establishment of projects in various fields funded by the people of the district.

A report issued by the Office of Community Initiatives in the province indicated that the total number of initiatives in the District of Juban amounted to 21 initiatives at a cost of one billion and 407 million and 270 thousand riyals, and four million and 884 thousand and 500 dollars during the year 1444 AH.

Initiatives in the field of roads include 12 initiatives, which included the implementation of Al Khu?ayriyah ?ajaj road projects at a cost of one million and 620 thousand dollars, stone paving of the Ar Raza’im Na’wah road at a cost of 60 thousand dollars, and ?ajaj Al Maqranah road at a cost of 360 thousand and 466 dollars, and the restoration and reclamation of the line linking the district of Juban and Damt at a cost of 480 million riyals, and a road of uzlah Al-Awdeia Asofla at a cost of $423,000, and ?ajaj-Al Qaynah road at a cost of $350,000.

A project to improve and level the ?ajaj Al-Aumrah road was also implemented at a cost of six million riyals, with a completion rate of 95 percent, and ?ajaj Al Jalb road, at a cost of 350 thousand dollars, with a completion rate of 80 percent, and paving the Ar Rabi‘atayn ?ababah road with a cost of 43 thousand dollars.

The report indicated that work is underway in implementing Al-Awdeia Al Olia Road, with community participation and the Emergency Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance, at a cost of 281 million and 650 thousand riyals, with a completion rate of 65 percent, and leveling and paving ?ajaj Al Lumay?iyah road, at a cost of 105 million and 172 thousand riyals, with a completion rate of 60 percent, and leveling and paving the Road of ?ajaj Al Qatuta, at a cost of 45 million and 150 thousand riyals, with a completion rate of 70 percent.

In the field of guidance, three community initiatives were implemented, including the completion of the construction of the Ar Rabi‘atayn Mosque, at a cost of $25,000, the restoration and maintenance of the Great Mosque in Juban, at a cost of $588,000, with a completion rate of 95 percent, and the maintenance and restoration of Al Mansouriya School “Amriya Juban” at a cost of $850,000, with a completion rate of 95 percent.

According to the report, work is underway to implement three initiatives with community participation in the field of agriculture and irrigation, with the support of the Emergency Intervention Unit, which included the construction of the Al-Dhiq Dam, Wadi Hamisan, in uzlah ?ajaj at a cost of 134 million and 400 thousand riyals, with a completion rate of 75 percent, as well as Al Hamma dam and Wadi Al-Selatin in the same district, at a cost of 259 million riyals, with a completion rate of 75 percent, and the construction of the Hawra barrier at a cost of 958 million and 791 thousand riyals.

In the field of water, an initiative to provide solar energy for the Arish Ar Rabi‘atayn water project was implemented at a cost of $130,000. As for the education sector, one initiative was implemented, which consisted of building four classrooms with annexes in Ghaiman, in uzlah Ar Rabi‘atayn, at a cost of $50,000.

An initiative was also implemented in the health sector, which included the restoration and rehabilitation of the health center in Mharram ?ajaj, at a cost of $35,000.
