Jenin - Maan Report - The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression in the city of Jenin and its two camps, for the second day in a row. Bulldozers continue to completely destroy the infrastructure, water and electricity networks inside the camp. The number of martyrs in Jenin Governorate rose to eight, the majority of whom were civilians and children, while the occupation soldiers are still carrying out raids and searches of homes inside the camp and demolishing large parts of those homes whose residents fled outside the camp and became homeless. Citizens and eyewitnesses reported to Ma'an's correspondent that the occupation soldiers seized money and savings while searching homes. The occupation army, which began a massive incursion into Jenin Governorate yesterday, reported that the military operation would continue for several days. The liaison reported that activist Wafaa Jarrar, wife of the prisoner and leader of the Hamas movement, Abdul Jabbar Jarrar, was injured in the explosion of an e xplosive device that targeted an occupation vehicle that was transporting her outside the city of Jenin. She was transferred to a hospital inside the occupied city, where her leg was amputated. A group calling itself the 'Jenin Brigade' held the occupation army responsible for the life of the prisoner Jarrar. The military operation in Jenin comes in the wake of the assassination of the leader of the Jenin Brigade, Islam Khamaysa, in an Israeli air strike on the Jenin camp in the West Bank late on Friday evening. After the assassination, the military establishment in Israel decided to launch a large military operation in the Jenin camp in search of resistance fighters holed up there, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper. She added that the military operation is likely to last several days. The Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in Jenin was 8 and 24 injuries (including 4 injuries in serious condition).
