As of the close of July, the Securities Depository Center has cataloged an aggregate of 7.6 billion securities, amounting to a valuation of JD19.5 billion. The Jordanian ownership landscape comprises approximately 5 billion securities, encapsulating a total market value of around JD10.6 billion. Conversely, the leading ten investors, excluding Jordanian entities, have accounted for approximately 1.7 billion securities, culminating in a combined valuation of roughly JD7.2 billion. In the international sphere, Saudi investors have prominently positioned themselves at the forefront of the Stock Exchange’s foreign investment cohort. The statistics detail 2,493 Saudi shareholders possessing securities equivalent to 434.685 million instruments, with an aggregated worth of JD1.109 billion. This data underscores the vitality and dynamism of the securities market, with a notable contribution from foreign investors, particularly from Saudi Arabia, and highlights the critical role of the Securities Depository Center in maintaining the integrity and fluidity of the market’s foundational infrastructure.
