Dozens of residents of Al-Rahma neighborhood in the city of Al-Amara, the center of Maysan Governorate, demonstrated today, Thursday, to demand the provision of services to their area. A number of demonstrators told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA: "Our region suffers from a lack of services, including water and electricity. We have appealed many times, but to no avail." They demanded a solution to their problem and the provision of services to them, which are among the basics of living, hinting at escalatory steps if their demands are not implemented.
