Gaza: The death toll in Gaza has risen to 47,498, with the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli genocide in October 2023, according to medical sources. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of injuries has reached 111,592, and many victims remain trapped under the rubble. Thousands of victims are still buried, awaiting rescue. In the past 24 hours, 11 new fatalities were reported, including nine bodies recovered from the debris and two individuals succumbing to their injuries. Additionally, four more injuries were reported in local hospitals due to the ongoing Israeli attacks. The sources also highlighted the ongoing difficulty faced by emergency teams and civil defense personnel in reaching several affected areas, as many victims remain trapped in debris or along the streets.
