The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has adopted reference lists for fixed assets related to all projects within the tourism sector. In a statement to Saba, Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei emphasized the importance of these lists in encouraging and promoting future tourism investments. Dr. Al-Yafei explained that the lists were developed through continuous meetings between members of the joint committee from the Ministry and the General Investment Authority. The lists cover all technical equipment requirements for tourism projects and activities, classified by type. He highlighted that these reference lists aim to facilitate and expedite access to incentives and customs benefits for tourism projects, by clarifying their fixed asset needs. The minister further noted that the lists encompass all tourism and entertainment-related activities, and they take into account the facilities' classifications when determining the necessary equipment. These lists will be instrumental in providing priv ileges and incentives to future investors in the tourism sector, as well as other service and industrial sectors. Source: Yemen News Agency
