Israeli colonists today uprooted 12 olive trees in an area west of Salfit in the north of the West Bank and stole the crops of 20 others owned by a local resident, local sources told WAFA They said the occupation army and colonists prevented residents of Salfit from reaching their lands in that area to pick their olives. In a related context, the occupation forces tightened their military measures at the northern entrance to Salfit and the entrance to the village of Bruqin, west of the city, and set up checkpoints and impeded the movement of people. Meanwhile, armed colonists from the illegal Havat Maon also chopped trees, tore down a tent, and stole agricultural tools and a water network owned by a local resident in Shaab al-Tuwaneh, in Masafer Yatta, in the south of the West Bank, according to local sources.
