NABLUS: Israeli colonists attacked olive harvesters today in the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, setting fire to a vehicle belonging to a local resident while he was working in the fields. Khadija Aqra, the public relations officer for the Qabalan Municipality, reported that the colonists targeted olive pickers in the area between Qabalan and the nearby village of Talfit. They burned the vehicle of a local farmer while he was harvesting olives and prevented other citizens from reaching the vehicle to extinguish the flames. This incident adds to the ongoing violence faced by Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season, raising urgent concerns about their safety and rights as they attempt to access their lands amidst increasing aggressions from colonists.
