Hebron: Colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, set fire to Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Karmil, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamreh reported that colonists ignited fires in residents' land in the Umm Nir area in al-Karmil. Civil Defence volunteers from the nearby villages of al-Tuwani and Susya in Masafer Yatta responded quickly to contain and extinguish the blazes.
In a separate development, an anti-colonization activist highlighted that the occupation authorities recently issued 15 stop-work notices to Palestinian residents of the Umm Qassa community in Masafer Yatta. These notices target homes, dwellings, and facilities within the community.
