Colonists Raze Palestinian Lands in the Jordan Valley

Gaza: Colonists began bulldozing privately owned land in the northern Jordan Valley on Thursday. Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Maleh village council, reported that colonists brought a bulldozer and began bulldozing privately owned land in Umm al-Jimal in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, last summer, approximately 14 families were forced to leave their homes due to increased colonists’ attacks. This escalation has been part of a broader pattern of aggressive actions by colonists in the area.

Last year, colonists established a colonial outpost near residents’ homes and seized hundreds of dunams of grazing land, which residents relied on to feed their livestock. The appropriation of these lands has significantly impacted the local Palestinian community, who depend on these resources for their livelihood.
