Nablus: Israeli colonists bulldozed the main road leading to five villages south of Nablus on Monday. The deputy mayor of Qablan, Abdul Rahman Abed, informed that the colonists' vehicles destroyed the alternative road between the cities of Ramallah and Nablus, impacting the villages of Qablan, Yitma, Jurish, Talfit, Jalud, and Qaryut.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abed explained that the occupation forces had initially blocked the road with earth mounds following the aggression on the Gaza Strip in October 2023. Furthermore, they issued notices to 25 shops along the road to cease operations and conducted bulldozing and expansion activities for the Rahalim colony near the road.
Abed highlighted the significance of this road, which served as an alternative route for the Nablus-Ramallah-Jerusalem line when the main road near the villages of Al-Sawiya and Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya was previously closed.
