Colonists Ignite Barn in Deir Dibwan Near Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli colonists set fire to a barn early Sunday morning in the village of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, according to security sources. The incident has escalated tensions in the region, adding to the series of violent acts perpetrated against Palestinian rural communities.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists targeted the Al-Marj and Wadi al-Qutun areas on the outskirts of the village. They threw flammable substances at a barn owned by two local Palestinians, leading to its complete destruction. This act of arson is part of a recent pattern of aggressive behavior by colonists in the area.

This latest attack follows a similar incident in the same village, where several sheep were stolen from a local resident. These acts are part of a broader increase in colonist violence and property attacks in the occupied West Bank, significantly impacting the livelihoods and security of Palestinian communities.
