JERICHO: Israeli colonists this evening stormed a Palestinian Bedouin community northwest of Jericho. Hasan Mleihat, Head of the al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that colonists raided the Mlihat Bedioun community in the Muarajat area northwest of Jericho, and grazed their sheep throughout the community. The said community is being subjected to systematic attempts by the occupying state and its colonizers to uproot them from their land. According to the semi-annual report of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, the actions of the Israeli occupation and colonists have resulted in the displacement of five Palestinian Bedouin communities consisting of 18 families (118 individuals) since the beginning of this year. The Commission added that 24 Palestinian Bedouin communities consisting of 266 families (1517 individuals), were displaced from their places of residence after October 7, 2023.
