Bethlehem: Colonists pumped on Sunday night sewage water onto Palestinian-owned agricultural lands in Kisan village southeast of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Ahmad Ghazal, the Secretary of the Fatah movement in Kisan, told WAFA that extremist colonists from a nearby illegal colonial outpost intentionally pumped sewage onto farmlands in the al-Tina area southeast of the said village.
Ghazal emphasized that this harmful act has become a frequent tactic by colonists, causing significant health hazards. It also prevents the landowners from cultivating crops such as wheat and barley and negatively affects livestock farming, he added.
Furthermore, the sewage discharge has resulted in the killing of three sheep.
Since the outbreak of Israeli aggression on October 7th, 2023, violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased. This indiscriminate violence has sparked widespread international condemnation. In response, several nations have imposed sanctions on Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of aggression in the West Bank.
