Al Maniya: Israeli colonists burned tents and attacked vehicles with stones this evening in the Al Maniya area, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Zayed Kawazba, head of the Al Maniya Village Council, reported that colonists set fire to four tents in the areas of Al Hajar and Wadi Al Abyad. These tents belonged to Palestinian citizens from the Shalaldeh and At-Tarwa families. Additionally, Kawazba noted that colonists hurled stones at waste collection vehicles near a nearby landfill, resulting in damage to one of the vehicles.
Earlier this week, the Al Maniya area witnessed further violence when a group of colonists attacked local residents. They reportedly used sticks and rifle butts to beat the residents and sprayed them with pepper spray. This incident resulted in 15 injuries, including fractures and bruises, highlighting an escalating tension in the area.
