Gaza: Colonists today attacked a water spring in the northern Jordan Valley and prevented Palestinian citizens from watering their livestock.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that a group of colonists assaulted the al-Hemma spring area, barring citizens from accessing water for their cattle. This aggressive action further escalated tensions in the region, impacting the livelihood of the local Palestinian community.
Additionally, the same group of colonists reportedly dumped dead dogs and cats near citizens' tents in the area. This act has been perceived as an intimidation tactic, adding to the distress of the residents.
Such ongoing attacks by colonists in the northern Jordan Valley are viewed as part of a broader policy aimed at forcing Palestinian citizens to leave their homes and abandon the area. The continued harassment and obstruction highlight the challenges faced by Palestinians in maintaining their presence and livelihoods in the region.
