Ramallah: Israeli colonists attacked the towns of Turmus Ayya and Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Awad Abu Samra, a member of the Turmus Ayya municipal council, reported that armed Israeli colonists stormed the eastern side of the town. The colonists grazed their sheep on privately owned olive groves and between residential homes, attempting to provoke local residents, though no confrontations were reported.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources informed WAFA that a group of armed Israeli colonists attacked the western area of Sinjil. Local sources mentioned that residents confronted the attackers and forced them back. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during these incidents.
