Ramallah: Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday evening, according to local sources. The attack targeted the Khalayel area of the village where colonists assaulted an agricultural room belonging to the Abu Hamam family and attempted to assault family members. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the attack is part of a broader pattern of aggression in the area. Occupation forces have been razing large tracts of Palestinian land in the village for the fourth consecutive day to pave a new colonial road. This ongoing activity has heightened tensions and disrupted the lives of local residents.
Earlier, the Israeli army imposed a tight siege on Al-Mughayyir, following a large-scale incursion. During this operation, Israeli troops attacked residents, damaged property, and caused significant destruction to farmland. The incursion also led to the detention of dozens of Palestinians, including the head of the village council, further escalating the situation in the village.
