Deir istiya: Israeli colonists on Tuesday evening assaulted a Palestinian farmer in the town of Deir Istiya north of Salfit city, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Salah Youssef Mansour was attacked while he was selling his agricultural produce at the entrance to the Wadi Qana area, northwest of Salfit. The colonists sprayed him with pepper spray, and he was treated at the scene.
Mansour, a farmer from Wadi Qana, frequently faces attacks by colonists during his work and while traveling along the road leading to Wadi Qana. He was previously targeted in an attempted run-over, during which his horse, used to pull the cart, was involved.
