Cold Weather Conditions Persist with Chances of Scattered Rain

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that partly cloudy and cold weather conditions will prevail on Wednesday, particularly in the mountainous regions, with temperatures remaining steady. There is also a possibility of scattered light rain in certain areas, especially in the northern parts. Winds are expected to be westerly to southwesterly, ranging from moderate to brisk, and sea waves will be moderate to high.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the evening and night will continue to see partly cloudy and cold conditions, with southwesterly moderate winds and moderate sea waves. The weather on Thursday is predicted to be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, particularly in the mountainous areas. A drop in temperatures is expected, along with scattered rain across most regions. Winds will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk, with occasional strong gusts reaching up to 60 km/h. Sea waves are anticipated to be high.

Friday's forecast indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies with cold to very cold temperatures, especially in mountainous areas. Temperatures are expected to decrease further, and the chance of scattered light rain persists across most regions. Active winds from the west to northwest will prevail, with occasional strong gusts reaching speeds up to 60 km/h, and sea waves will remain high.

On Saturday, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, with cold to very cold temperatures, particularly in mountainous areas. Temperatures will stay constant, with a slight chance of scattered light rain in some areas. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest, and sea waves will be low.

The PMD has issued warnings about the potential dangers posed by strong winds, which may reach speeds of up to 60 km/h during some gusts. It also cautioned about slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall, reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low-lying clouds, the formation of frost in the early morning hours of Saturday and Sunday, and high sea waves.
