The Civil Defense Directorate put out a fire that broke out in 3 residential caravans, and rescued 60 other caravans in Baghdad.
The Directorate stated in a statement: “The civil defense teams put out a fire that broke out inside 3 residential caravans and rescued sixty nearby caravans, which were built of highly flammable sandwich panels and violated safety instructions. They belong to the Baghdad governorate and were distributed to needy families in Al-Shaab area.”
It added: “The civil defense teams mobilized and evacuated the families close to the site of the fire, surrounded the fire and isolated the burning caravans from those adjacent to them to control the situation and extinguished the fire without recording human casualties while limiting the material damage. An investigation was also opened to find out the reasons for the outbreak of the fire in the first place.”
