Beijing: China expressed concern on Friday over the Israeli decision to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Geng Shuang, stated that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and is an integral part of the Palestinian Territory.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Geng Shuang emphasized that an immediate ceasefire is the best way to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and is crucial for a comprehensive resolution of the conflict. He pointed out that only through a ceasefire can the conflict be ended and stability in the region be preserved.
The Ministry spokesperson also highlighted China's readiness to collaborate with the international community to stop the war in Gaza as soon as possible. He reiterated the importance of alleviating the humanitarian disaster, implementing the two-state solution, and achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.
