Santiago: The Chilean government announced on Wednesday the withdrawal of its attach©s from Israel.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Chilean government has withdrawn its military, defense, and air attach©s from Tel Aviv in response to the ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza. These actions have resulted in the deaths of 54,084 Palestinians, primarily women and children, and injuries to 123,308 others.

Quoting a press statement from the Chilean Foreign Ministry's website, Prensa Latina reported that the decision was made by the Chilean Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense. The statement cited the severe situation faced by the Gaza Strip's population due to the actions of the Israeli army as the reason for the withdrawal.

The statement further condemned the obstacles created by the Israeli forces that hinder the delivery of aid to Gaza. The Chilean government has called on Israel to cease its military operations in the occupied Palestinian territory, ensure the free flow of humanitarian aid, and adhere to international law and humanitarian standards.
