The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) a Belgian humanitarian aid plane bound for Gaza that will be sent via the Jordanian land bridge to the Strip. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shebli and the Ambassador of Belgium to Jordan, Serge Diction, received the plane loaded with tents, according to a statement issued Wednesday. Shebli said with the continuation of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we seek more sustainable and necessary aid to meet the needs of Gazans, adding, "We collect and receive cash and in-kind donations to send to our people in Gaza." He added, "For 4 months, Jordan has been the only effective passage and entrance for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip." The total number of land trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip has reached 3,414 trucks and 53 planes via Egypt's Al Arish, said Shebli. Source: Jordan News Agency
