In a statement released Monday, Ayla highlighted that the awards are a testament to its efforts in embedding sustainability across its vision, mission, and operations. The recognition followed detailed evaluations by expert committees focused on the club's strategies for sustainable development. Ayla Golf Club was awarded the title of the most sustainable 18-hole golf course in the region, and it was also recognized as the world's most sustainable desert golf course. Additionally, it received awards for being the most sustainable mountain golf course locally and the most sustainable championship golf course in the Middle East. Sahl Dudin, CEO of Ayla Oasis Development Company, expres sed pride in the achievement, stating: "We are honored to receive this international recognition of Ayla's continuous commitment to environmental and social sustainability standards. Ayla Golf Club has been instrumental in driving this vision forward through its innovative approach to sustainability and operational governance." Ayla Golf Club is Jordan's premier championship course, featuring 18 holes and a golf academy with an additional 9-hole course. The course, designed by renowned golfer Greg Norman, spans over 800,000 square meters, with undulating green fairways interspersed with lakes and varied elevations.
