Security forces arrested a wanted suspect in his possession of various types of weapons and ammunition in Wasit. A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the detachments of the First Tactical Regiment within the Wasit Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Crime Combating Department in Wasit, were able to arrest a wanted suspect in Al-Hay District and seized various types of weapons and ammunition in his possession.
