Baghdad, The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 13 violators of residency conditions of different nationalities in Karbala Governorate. The Ministry stated in a statement: "As part of the ongoing efforts of the Karbala Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with other security agencies, the Arab and International Police Affairs Department detachments, in cooperation with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the Tourism Security Department, and the Residency Affairs Department, were able to arrest (13) foreign workers." It added: "The arrest came as a result of the continuous security work, inspection of shops, restaurants, and malls, and auditing of their workers. These people were arrested for exceeding the residency period, and they were handed over to the Residency Affairs Department to complete the necessary legal procedures against them."
