Armed Israeli Colonists Force Palestinian Farmers to Leave Their Own Lands in Nablus

Nablus: Israeli colonists forced on Wednesday Palestinian farmers to leave their land in the village of Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus. The incident highlights ongoing tensions in the region as farmers were interrupted during their work on their own land.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the Asira al-Qibliya village council, Hafez Saleh, reported that dozens of colonists attacked the farmers while they were engaged in agricultural activities. The colonists, who were armed, used gunfire as a means to intimidate and expel the farmers from their land.

Saleh further mentioned that the colonists not only expelled the farmers but also confiscated agricultural equipment that was being used for spraying chemical pesticides. The actions of the colonists have raised concerns about the safety and security of Palestinian farmers in the area.
