Jericho: Israeli colonists on Saturday released their sheep among Palestinian homes in the village of Shallal al-Auja, north of Jericho, according to a local official. Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, reported that armed colonists from neighboring settlements stormed the Shallal al-Auja community, releasing their sheep among the homes of residents and vandalizing their private property.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Malihat highlighted that in recent weeks, armed colonists have carried out repeated incursions in groups, targeting Bedouin communities. The incidents have caused distress among the local residents, disrupting their daily lives and leading to concerns about safety and property. The local communities are calling for increased protection and intervention to prevent further incursions.
