The Arab League organized with the Association of Arab Universities on Wednesday Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad University (PMU) award ceremony for the best scientific production, sponsored the Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit. Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector at the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazala and Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities Dr. Amr Salama, and President of PMU Dr Essa Al-Ansari attended the ceremony where they announced the prize of the best scientific production valued at USD 250,000. Abu Ghazala stated in the opening speech that PMU is one of the distinguished universities in the field of research and the use of modern technologies to develop scientific research. She affirmed that the award is a culmination of goals and plans in drawing real milestones that pave the way for serious scientific research in various fields. The names of the winners were called Dr. Salama and the awards were presented by Dr Essa Al-Ansari. Award for the best s cientific production in scientific research and technological development went to Iraq's University of Technology, and Saudi's Qassim University. Award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation went to Egyptian Mansoura University and Iraqi University of Babylon. Award for the best joint scientific project between Arab and international universities went to Egypt's British University. Award for the best scientific research that serves community development within the framework of the sustainable development goal went to Egyptian Sohag University and Helwan University.
