Cairo: The General Secretariat of the Arab League has condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding the seizure of parts of the territories of sovereign Arab states to establish the so-called vision of "Greater Israel".
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a statement on Wednesday, the General Secretariat regarded these statements as a violation of the sovereignty of Arab states and an attempt to undermine security and stability in the region.
The General Secretariat of the Arab League emphasized that these statements pose a serious threat to collective Arab national security and challenge international law and the principles of international legitimacy.
The statement noted that these remarks reflect expansionist and aggressive intentions that cannot be accepted or tolerated, revealing an extremist mindset steeped in colonial illusions.
The statement urged the international community, represented by the UN Security Council, to fulfill its responsibility and respond decisively to these extremist statements, which destabilize the region and fuel hatred and rejection of the occupying state.
