An accused arrested and a quantity of drugs seized after an Iranian boat threw a bag at the accused, south of Basra

A force from the Fourth Region Border Command attacked a suspect and seized an amount of drugs south of Basra.

A source in the Command stated to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that through monitoring the surveillance cameras in the coastal border sector of our command, an Iranian boat headed to the Iraqi side, and it threw a bag and a person was waiting for it. The accused was arrested in his possession narcotics, estimated at (3) kilograms of crystal and (1) kilo of hashish, in Al-Faw district, south of Basra.

He added: The necessary legal measures will be taken against him.
