Amnesty International has stated that the repeated evacuation orders issued by the Israeli occupation army for the residents of Gaza City may be classified as illegal displacement and constitute a "war crime." In a post on its account on the X platform today, Amnesty International highlighted that Palestinian civilians have faced multiple waves of displacement due to the ongoing nine-month Israeli attack on the occupied Gaza Strip, exacerbated by the repeated evacuation orders. The organization noted that this week, the Israeli occupation forces issued another comprehensive evacuation order for Gaza City, directing all its residents to flee south. "In the absence of any guarantees to return after the end of hostilities and with no safe and dignified accommodations for the displaced, such orders amount to unlawful transfer, a war crime," Amnesty International stated. On July 7, the Israeli occupation forces issued evacuation orders to civilians in central Gaza City, including the Tuffah and Daraj areas, ins tructing them to immediately relocate to the west of the city. Simultaneously, they intensified their strikes on the south and west of Gaza City, targeting the very areas to which they had ordered residents to move. Source: Qatar News Agency
