HH Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met Sunday with the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who is visiting Kuwait. During the meeting, they discussed the exemplary relations between Kuwait, the United Nations, and its various organizations, in addition to means of reinforcing cooperation between the two sides, endeavors to supporting international peace and security and coordinating development efforts and humanitarian initiatives. HH the Amir and the UN Secretary-General examined latest updates on the situation in Gaza and the necessity to intensify efforts towards immediate ceasefire, as well as regional and international developments.
