The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Movement, announced on Saturday that its fighters targeted a house east of the city of Rafah, in which a large number of Israeli soldiers were holed up, and killed 15 of them. It added: "Then our mujahideen stormed the house and clashed with the remaining soldiers from zero distance with light machine guns and hand grenades in Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip." In two other separate statements, it said: 'We targeted a Zionist Merkva 4 tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and enemy forces were targeted inside the Rafah land crossing, south of the Strip, with mortar shells.' In the past few days, Al-Qassam announced that it was carrying out ope rations against the Israeli army in the city of Rafah, south of Gaza, which included targeting military vehicles, equipment, and Israeli soldiers.
