A meeting chaired by the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Musawa, and including the community committee for the Taiz Airport area today, Tuesday, discussed aspects related to the problems related to the airport lands. In the meeting, Al-Musawa pointed out the importance of strengthening communication with the presidential committee charged with dealing with issues related to airport lands, stressing that the current situation of Taiz International Airport requires treatment that guarantees rights and achieves the public interest. He pointed out the local authority's commitment to preserving the public interest while taking into account the rights of citizens, noting the importance of working to identify the lands that have previously been compensated , those that are eligible for compensation, and ensuring justice for all parties. The Acting Governor explained that the presidential committee seeks to develop plans that guarantee rights and take into account the technical and logistical aspects of the air port, praising the cooperation of landowners in resolving the existing problems.
