Al-Muhtasib Family Council meets with the Chief Prosecutor of Hebron


Hebron – Together – Today, Thursday, the Muhtasib Family Council held a meeting with the Chief Prosecutor of Hebron, Mr. Majdi Rabi, in the presence of a number of prosecutors, the presence of the Director of the Military Intelligence Service, Brigadier General Fadl Khalawi, and the presence of the Chairman of the Presidential Committee for Civil Peace in Hebron, Lafi Ghaith.

The Al-Muhtaseb family delegation included Hajj Bilal Al-Muhtaseb, Chairman of the Family Council, Haj Makrum Al-Muhtaseb, Engineer Majdi Al-Muhtaseb, Muhammad Talib Al-Muhtaseb, Muhannad Al-Muhtaseb, Haj Hayyan Al-Muhtaseb, Brigadier General Omar Al-Muhtaseb, and Colonel Jihad Al-Muhtaseb.

The meeting began with a speech from Hajj Sufyan Al-Muhtasib, dean of the Al-Muhtasib family, who spoke about the important and pioneering role of the Public Prosecution in preserving the rights of citizens, thanking the efforts of the Attorney General, Counselor Akram Al-Khatib, and the heads and prosecutors, as they are the guardians of justice in
Palestine.

He praised the constructive cooperation between the security establishment and the Public Prosecution in revealing the truth and achieving justice, stressing that the Al-Muhtasib Council and family reject any insult to any government employee, and that they will stand as a barrier to anyone who dares to insult himself.

In his name and in the name of the Al-Muhtasib Family Council, he congratulated Mr. Rabi’i on assuming the presidency of the Hebron Prosecution Office, which is considered one of the most important prosecution offices in the country, due to the privacy that Hebron enjoys.

For his part, Ghaith stressed that the tribes in Hebron stand united with the judicial system in order to achieve justice for all, and that the abnormal behavior issued by individuals in society does not represent the general orientation of the families.

Stressing that extending the system and spreading security and safety is not the responsibility of the Palestinian security forces, but rather a shared responsi
bility among all, and we must join hands in confronting the negative phenomena that disturb the lives of citizens.

For his part, Rabai thanked the Al-Muhtasib Family Council for its noble stances and for standing by the Public Prosecution to achieve justice and ward off strife, stressing that the Public Prosecution works with all parties to achieve justice.
